BioMaxEff is the result of a proposal submitted under the European Commission’s 7th Framework Programme call ENERGY.2010.4.2-1: Demonstration of a New Generation of Boilers and Stoves.
Focussing on wood pellet and log boiler products in the 6-60kWth range, BioMaxEff is structured around a programme of innovative product development, intensive testing and wide market deployment, all designed to achieve the major impacts anticipated by the FP7 Call, namely:
- Very low levels of pollutants emissions (especially fine particulates)
- High efficiencies
- Low costs
- Increased market share
- High impact on air quality in cities during the heating season
This website will allow the viewer to access information on the BioMaxEff work programme and the issues behind the anticipated impacts of the project. As the project moves forward details of dissemination events will be advertised on the website and it will be possible to download a range of project information including results, reports, presentations and articles.
